A note about lifestyle medicine:

Lifestyle medicine, as I know it, is a nexus between functional medicine, health promotion & education, and evidence-based clinical treatment protocols. This approach involves the examination of environmental, behavioral, and psychological lifestyle factors which serve to enhance physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. By investigating an individual’s physical movement patterns, nutritional deficiencies, stress management techniques, sleep hygiene, social relationships, habitual use of toxic substances (nicotine, alcohol, drugs, etc.), toxic environmental exposures (water, air, chemical pollution, etc.), and technology hygiene, a roadmap to a more healthy and balanced lifestyle can be created. In essence, lifestyle medicine is the practical implementation and integration of functional medicine protocols and entheogenic insights into daily life.
